This is a great game. extremely addictive. but not enough stealth options.

Me and my friends have been waiting for this game for a long long time. always being a huge splinter cell fan ive played through every game until i was able to beat every mission without being spotted. and thats what i expected to do in this game. unfortunately though its pretty much impossible to do that. later in the game you will be faced with so many enemies in 1 open space that the only option you really have is to shoot at them. not be stealthy. other than that 1 complaint it is a really fun and addictive game. the story had me immersed and even though i havent beaten it yet im on the last level and it has been a thrill ride. there has been so many moments were ive said "HOLY CRAP!!!" and every level has just been a blast to play. unfortunately though, as gamespot said, it is around a 5 hr game. even on the hardest difficulty (which im playing now). some new fun stuff is being able to upgrade weapons, there are only 3 upgrades for each weapon and 2 for each gadget but at least you are able to customize weapons that fit your play style. i think there are over 10 weapons (dont have exact amount) which is nice since in every splinter cell game youve been stuck with only 2 usually. You also earn money to upgrade weapons (and online uniforms and uniform upgrades) by completing certain challenges, it almost feels like the achievement point system. like by taking out a guy that is investigating a car alarm, or successfully avoiding being spotted etc. from what i played of the online multiplayer its EXTREMELY addictive. and probably my favorite part. i tried the coop story mode and Hunter (which is like a terrorist hunt mode where you have to take out a certain number of AI guys on a map) and they are both extremely fun to play with a friend. it runs smoothly and you can take advantage of the whole stealth thing if the single player left you dissapointed in that department. plus you can use the weapons you upgraded in single player and upgrade and buy new uniforms. Overall this is a great and addicting game that keeps you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end. if you arent a huge coop fan at least rent it to play the amazing single player mode, but if you like coop and a great story this is a great game that is worth buying. 9 out of 10
