Chaos Theory is a stealth game that, ironically, suffers from its emphasis on stealth. Unlike the Hitman series, where you hide in plain sight and can use force instead of stealth if you so choose, in this game you spend most of the time skulking in the shadows and often aren't even allowed to kill anyone. This may be more realistic, but it sure as hell isn't more fun; instead of a powerful assassin, you feel like a cockroach scurrying from cover to cover to avoid getting stamped on. To make matters worse, the levels are extremely linear, and while you can sometimes use different approaches, the variety is negligible, meaning that the replay value is close to zero. Some people may want to try and get the highest rating for a maximum cockroach experience, but I'm not one of them. It's not like the rating even affects anything in this game. I'm not saying it's bad - it was still fun to play - but I had expected more.
