This is LAS VEGAS? You SURE?
As many have mentioned, the graphics will astound you, in a bad way. Enviromentally, you can tell how uninterested the developers were. The modelling of objects and surroundings resembled 3d games I played in 2002 or something. It's first impression isn't a good one, due to the fact the title has absolutely no resemblance of and relavance to Vegas.
You start in a cave. or under a waterfall for that matter. A CAVE!
Not that it really matters, but 50% of the story takes place in a water plant, factories etc etc.
Might as well call it Rainbow 6 factory wars or CAVE wars.
The sounds are terrible. As you know Jane is your personal assistant, And she screams into the intercom as though as you're deaf or something.
Now a bit on the AI. They are pretty dumb and my conclusion is because they probably had a bunch of dumb people working on this project.
In this game, there're only 2 usable agents. Shawn and brian. Sniper and assault. Certain segments of the game requires shawn to back brian up or brian dies. In an event that shawn doesn't take out the terror out before they get to brian, brian dies.
Now, many times, this has gotten me irritated. Because you are expected to take 3 people down simultaneously or mission fails.
When you try to mark the position, of a terror, it seems that the AI knows.
Thats ridiculous, the AI shifts from left to right while firing at you. And he still HITS you. Thats very realistic. Another issue I've face is when I've gotten a perfect lock on. 6-7 rounds of sniper can't kill the AI. It could be a possible bug or something. The bottom line being such a fundamental error shouldn't even cease to exist.
The game/story mode takes only 2.5hrs tops to complete. Listen to this, with absolutely no sign of slot machines, in a casino or even close to neon lights.
For those who are about to pay 40 bucks for this title for the beauty of Las vegas and a hope of a glimpse of the scenics there. Please do not get this title.
To sum up this experience. I'm honestly aghast,disenchanted & absolutely disgruntled by the fact that ubisoft has the cheek to release such a uncompleted almost beta lookalike title.
