For me personally, it didn't really deliver that strongly

Because of the familiarity of the name 'Rainbow 6', I decided to give this PC game a little try. The results weren't necessarily disastrous, but the game just didn't 'do it' for me.

In other words, the game had its moments for sure, but they were too few and far in-between. When the game 'worked', it worked, but I found these moments to occur much less often than I wanted. The story was not at all interesting, combat got old pretty quickly, and the cover system didn't even...work. What I mean is you can hold right click behind a wall and still get 'shot'. It was certainly...interesting.

Overall, the game wasn't necessarily terrible. It had some good action moments and it was fun for the first couple of hours. The problem, however, is that it soon grew stale. As previously mentioned, the lack of an interesting story, repetitive gameplay, and somewhat nonsensical combat / strange design choices made the game rather 'uninspiring'. I suppose one of the game's strong points is that it looked alright, but honestly, there wasn't anything necessarily mind-blowing in this department either. All this said, I'm not necessarily saying that the game was downright terrible; just that it didn't really leave much of a positive impression.
