Great Tactical Shooter with Some Flaws

User Rating: 9 | Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege (Gold Edition) PS4

This is has been quite a ride with Rainbow Six Siege since it was released in December 2015.

It's gone from unplayable to almost playable online. The support team has been good with communication on updates and fixes and answers a lot of questions/concerns on their forum. UPdates are monthly and address most of the issues. The ongoing issue is the hit registration and accuacy of the kill cam. This leaves the game in a frustrating position...it's fun to play until you start running into lag, hit reg issues and garbabe team mates.

There isn't much of a single player other than training in ten missions. I don't mind this as I don't get a game for its single player. Training is easy and straight foward, but you don't need it to get online.

Most of the maps are fun to play with the exception of a few. Weapons are somewhat balanced now, but you'll find your obvious favorites after playing the game a while.

Overall a really fun game if you can get some friends on and play together. They are still working out the netcode and hit registration issues as well glitches every now and then. Cheaters were prominent on the PC but they've been releasing anti cheat technology. With constant support and updates, I see this game growing even more by the end of the year and into the next year with their release of season two content.
