Overall a Fantastic Strategy Game

User Rating: 9 | Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege XONE

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege is a great game that involves plenty of strategy left and right. When playing online, I recommend playing this game with a group of friends instead playing alone. Having that extra communication with your friends makes the game all the more fun as it also increases your chance of winning. I won't go too far in depth, but I'll give a brief summary of how I felt the game was for me.

Pros:

There's a wide variety of classes to choose from on both the attack and defensive sides, giving your squad more ways to play. What I notice about the classes is that some of these classes go hand in hand. For example, IQ and Thatcher go very well together. IQ can find the enemy's electronics with a scanner while Thatcher can disable them with a EMT grenade.

The graphics are almost always very clean, giving the game a "fresh" feeling as long as you have a ping below 80.

Even in very easy modes, this game can be quite challenging. This makes the game very fun for anyone who's down for the challenge. Siege forces you to play above your level of gaming to improve your skills, something you won't quite find in other first-person shooters such as "Call of Duty."

Different game modes require different gameplay styles, adding up to the creativity and strategy of how your team strategizes each round.

Cons:

Personally, using the drones to find the objective in the beginning of the round can seem quite repetitive at times. This can occasionally feel old, but doesn't lower the intensity of a game.

It's important to play at the right time of day to get onto a server. Playing in the morning usually has me waiting to find a server for at least 7 minutes, whereas playing at night will hook me up to a server in a minute flat. Be sure that you'll be able to find a full server, because that can be quite a hassle at times.

Despite those cons, I feel like this is an overall very excellent game that can improve strategizing skills and communication with teammates. Rainbow Six Siege will definitely not get old for a very long time, as long as you have a group of friends to play with.
