No Doubt one of the best Tactical shooters ever Made.
The game's single player has you playing As Ding chavez the team leader of "Rainbow six" And puts you through 14 missions which are sometimes short but very tough and tense and all togather the campaigns last about 10-12 hours. There is no plot in the game but basically you are a elite counter terrorist agent and your team gets called in if there is a terrorist situation and all you have to do is take out the enemies defuse some bomb''s rescue hostages and go home. There is "terrorist hunt" game mode which is pretty much just you and the rainbow six team hunting down the terrorists and kill them.
The difference between Mission and terrorist hunt game mode is that in terrorist hunt all you have to do is kill all of the terrorists with out having to worry about objectives like rescue hostages or defuse a bomb.
There is no Splitscreen co-op which is rather disappointing.
But there is co-op for system link or online for up to 4 players for co-op missions or you could play terrorist hunt instead of playing the campaign.
There are also some other game modes for online such as survival and team survival which is you have to try and be the last one alive at the end of the game while also trying to kill your enemies and you only get one life per round, and sharp shooter mode is sorta like survival except you have infinite lives and the goal is to have the most kills in the end.
There is almost a insane amount of weapons to choose from the most notable are probably the MP5 and M82-A1 50. caliber sniper rifle Along with these there are some heavy machine guns, sniper rifles, Sub-machine guns assault rifles and of course pistols including the deadly desert eagle 50. cal pistol. There are also grenades like the frag grenade incendiary grenade and it cant be a tactical shooter unless there is flash grenades.
The gameplay is very good since you can order your team members to do what you want such as open and clear or open, frag and clear, you can toggle the clear part on or off in case you dont want them to clear and just open and frag which gives you total control of your team members. Speaking of controls the control layout is very nice using the by holding down the A button and using the control pad you can give out orders and of course the Right trigger is to fire.
The graphics are very good almost perfect and I have never experienced lag except a few times on multiplayer.
The sound is also very good the guns sound almost authentic and the music can make for some very tense moments in the game, the voice acting ok but sometimes the voice acting is kinda cheesy.
Overall If you have a XBOX and are looking for a good tactical shooter then look no further than Rainbow six 3.
