Don't believe the press, this game may not be like other Ghost Recon games but it is very good!

I read all of the negative press that this game received and so, like a good boy I avoided it. I only ended up purchasing it because it was packaged with Brother's in Arms. Now that I have it though, I can say, it is very good.

I think a few things need to be clarified. This game is not as tactical as the other Ghost Recon games, so if you like those games this may disappoint. And although I've never played GRAW for 360, I can understand that they are completely different experiences. After all GRAW for 360 is a 3rd person shooter while GRAW for Xbox is an FPS. And lastly in Gamespot's review they complain about scope drift, which is extreme in this game, but they fail to mention that it can be corrected by clicking the analog stick to hold your breath.

Now that that's clarified, in conclusion I would like to say that if you're looking for a highly tactical shooter you may want to consider another game. If, however, you are looking for a modern shooter similar to Black or Battlefield 2, this is the game for you. Don't believe what you hear, this game is GOOD!
