This is one of the worst Tokyo Xtreme Racer games ever.

User Rating: 1 | Tokyo Xtreme Racer Advance GBA
In the past, most of the Tokyo Xtreme Racer games were fun to play on the Dreamcast and Playstation 2. Those games had excellent graphics, options, and game play. Unfortunately, Tokyo Xtreme Racer Advance is nowhere near as fun as the past Tokyo games.

First, Tokyo Xtreme Racer Advance was ported to the Game Boy Advance. Usually game boy racing games have terrible graphics, including this game. The graphics were so bad that my eyes literally began to hurt immediately. It's way too pixilated, and my eyes began to hurt during the first five minutes of playing this. As a result, I got bored of playing it very quickly.

Also, the cars were very slow paced, and I kept on racing the same old rivals over and over again. Yes, rivals are still easy to beat. The tracks were also too small and boring to race on. Therefore, I couldn't even progress through this game.

This game also doesn't have multiplayer mode either. Even the music is boring to listen to because there are no other tracks.

Overall, this game is a piece of garbage, and should be avoided completely. Even the die-hard Genki fans will grow bored of this easy waste of money. In fact, I got rid of my Tokyo Xtreme Racer Advance, and gave it to a child.

The good - affordable, can play it anywhere

The bad - no multiplayer mode, terrible music, bad graphics, cars are too slow paced

Presentation - 1 This game is similar to the other Tokyo games, but it's boring to even glance at it.

Graphics - 0 If the graphics start to hurt your eyes, then this gets an automatic zero. The graphics are also way too pixilated, and that causes eye strain.

Sound - 1 You hear the same sounds and music over and over again.

Game play - 2 The cars move way too slow, and I can't even figure out how to progress through this game.

Lasting approval - 1 Don't play this game because you can't even play against each other. You will grow bored out of it very fast.
