If your a fan of the series then you will like this version. Basically its just like the Zero version of the game except you now have actual licensed car names instead of the old fake numbers etc. So you for the first time in the series have real cars. Of course they dressed the menus up and gave us more track as well. They organized the rivals checklists a bit better now and its easier to see who you have and have not beaten so far. The feel of the racing is the same. The graphics seem a slight bit better. Just some of the lighting seems better and the car models also look a bit better to me as well. The real atrraction here is the style of the gameplay. If you have played the game before you know that TXR has a unique feel of almost panic as you drive as fast as possible weaving between traffic trying to stay ahead of your opponent all while taking his "health bar" down. its a thrilling race and a bit different then the other racers out there. For me it was a simple purchase. The game was $20. I liked the old games in the series and this one finally had real cars in it. For $20 I didnt really even think twice about the purchase.
