Despite what gamespot say, this a very enjoyable platformer that should not be missed.
In this game, you play as one of three aliens-Toejam, Earl & Latisha- and travel around many different levels, converting 'insane' earthling to the way of Funk. No, really. Your main weapon is Funk-Fu, which you use to slowly convert earthlings. Then you can either buy presents or find them. This is where the game gets really interesting. Inside the presents are all sorts of things, ranging from Sushi-To-Go to Icarus Wings, which let you fly for a limited amount of time.
Toejam & Earl is choc full of humor, and isn't afraid to spurt loads out at once. For instance: you're Earl, a slightly fat, cap-wearing alien. As you walk past the converted Earthlings, one of them says 'My mommy thinks that you're my daddy and that you owe us money'.
Anyway, to end I give you this mesage: Don't listen to the grumpy grandads that are Gamespot. Try it out. You wont regret it.
