A ...Different Type Of Skateboarding Game

This game is very different to any other skateboarding game I've ever played. I did play it before I played any Tony Hawk game, which was an advantage as when I played it after Tony Hawk I found it difficult to control and rather slow. There are 12 levels, which are relatively limited, but are still challenging to complete. There is also a wide range of skateboarding moves available in the game. It is far more technical than any other skateboarding game I have ever played, therefore adding to the learning curve and challenge of the game. It does also have replay value - I completed the game with all characters on both normal and difficult mode, whilst still enjoying it. You can also customise your player, each character having two different styles of clothing which you can accesorise as the game goes on through getting sponsors. It is also sponsored by the maazine 'Thrasher', one of the best skateboarding magazines there is, a plus for any skateboarder.
However, the greatest feature of the game is the soundtrack - the best soundtack I have ever heard in any game on any format. It has a mix of the best old school hip hop (and it is in fact this game which got me into both hip hop and skateboarding), and works very well in a skateboarding game (most recent skateboarding games use rock or punk music).
I would say that this game takes a very refined taste, due to its difficulty and also its difference from any other game of the same genre. I would still reccomend it though, if only to die hard skating fans.
