A very fun game and a must-have for fans of the simulation/management genre.
Good Points-- For a Playstation 1 game Theme Hospital looks very good and also has very addictive gameplay. The characters that are in it are just hilarious and the illnesses are really bizarre and even the receptionist's comments over the tannoy are sometimes bonkers . The management options like the price someone has to pay to get cured or what subjects your researchers work on are all really well thought out and easy to use. You even get to change your staff's wages which will affect their mood in either a good way or a bad way. The game has about 9 levels which doesn't sound like much but actually takes long time to complete.
Bad Points-- The game can get quite frustrating at times due to some faults in the game. Such as your workers leaving their room when you don't want them to. There is also no background music on my version so it feels slightly empty. Another thing that doesn't seem right is that your workers never go home and work non-stop all year round which is a wee bit unrealistic.
Aim of the game-- You are the manager of a hospital firm and your job is to run a hospital up to standard so you can get promoted to a bigger and better hospital with more options and cures and illnesses.
