From Character creation to completion this game is stellar. It provides an edge of your seat experience that never slows down. You really need the enhanced version that got rid of all the nonsense dialogue and bugs for this game to work. If you have that sit back and enjoy the game. It will suck you in within the first hour.
The graphics even three years later are still stunning, The advancement and customization are ahead of their time. Combat is brutal and bloody. The story is the perfect blend of just enough and not too much to keep the pace moving along.
I have played games like Elder scrolls since then and have to say I think this game compares favorably. I wouldn't say it is better than Elder Scrolls but it is different enough that you will enjoy one if you enjoy the other. Do yourself a favor go to GOG.com and spend the 9.99 to get a copy. It will be money well spent. I guarantee it.

  Excellent game. Aside from the long load times and minor flaws finally a worthy successor of Fallout has arrived.
