The warriors, based off the hit movie of the same name from 1979. So since its video game debut, is the game any good?
yes, and its a great and fun game that anyone should play.
The main story from the movie was someone shot the leader of the riffs and framed the warriors and they needed to get backto coney before they got wasted. The game shows what happens before the events of the movie then the last 6 missions are the events of the movie. The story is greatly told and its nice that they have bonus missions showing how the warriors started. The only bad part of the story was how they recruited cochise. (they made him go to alot of clubs and go through alot of trouble just to get a size 9 hat to be in a gang)
So as you already know, theres alot to do, and the combat never gets repetitive. You can do side missions in coney or just beat every body up with a friend. But if there is something that is repetitive, it is armies of the night. While this mode puts up a challenge, you could be really good and pound everyone. you beat someone up, move on beat up 3 dudes move on, fight a boss with 3 dudes with him, move on. As you can see, armies of the night is a repetitive mess, and only worth going through to get ghost versions of the warriors.
The graphics are on a low scale. The enviroments are good for the most part, but character models are blocky and have wierd faces. The sound though is a totally different story. they have the remaining actors from the movie and aside from sounding over the age of twenty, they do a great job doing the voices, and sound effects sound great.
The warriors is a fantastic game by rockstar, and they have done a great job making a great brawler. so yeah, i think the warriors have finally come out to play.
