The Warriors is a game that you will have fun with for a long time, I've beat and played it countless times.
The story isn't just about what happened in the movie, it goes back one whole year, to show you how everything got started. You see how The Warriors got bigger and bigger, and who they fought to get where there are. When your finished with the main story you can unlock some side missions to called flash back missions. It shows how some joined the gang and what they had to do to join in the Warriors and get their colors.
When you ain't doing missions you can run around Coney Island, which is very small and you really ain't got a lot you can do. You can beat up people on the streets, steal some car radios and even break into a jewelry shop. And even some side missions as you go a long threw the game, but once you finish all that there isn't really much you can do on the streets so it might get a little boring.
In your hangout you can make your warriors work out, you can do Sit ups, Pull ups, and push ups. You also can go back and do any missions that you've already done. That's what in my opinion gives it so much replay value. And you can do the mission over as many times as you want, you also got a little TV where you can go and check out your stats from each mission. So you will be able to beat your high score if you would like.
There's plenty of missions, and the game should at least take you about 10 hours to do. But when your done you can go back and do it all again with a few clicks. I've spent countless hours playing levels over and over just beating people up. And if you find the game as fun as me you'll probably end up doing the same thing as well.
Overall The Warriors is a fantastic game, one everyone should play, if you watched and liked the movie you'll like the game just as much or even more. If you ain't ever watched the movie, don't worry you'll still be able to understand what's going on in the game.
