A rollercoster of : "Oh what sh*t will happen" and "Oh my f*cking God"
Right now I'm at the beggining of the 4th episode. Many thing happened and there is just one thing that I wish I did differently. Now many of you already know this isn't a game where you shoot zombies and laugh while exploding their heads ... really no. It is more of a tale of struggling survivor to survive just a little longer. Hope is really strong. So obviously the story is the main point in this game because the gameplay is really easy and more passive than in Heavy Rain.
I have a weird feeling that in Heavy Rain I cared a lot for all the caracters, in this game I felt betrayed, I felt sick and now I only care for Clementine, Lee and Carley. I must give promp to one scene in the third episode that almost make me feel sick. I must say that at first I trusted everyone but now I feel like ... I'll save my ass and Clementine and everyone else could die.
I like how, people started saine and the more the story progress the more you see humain nature. Also ... I have a strange feeling that some of my decision didn't really matter in the outcome. I know that even if I try to save someone he/she may die anyway but I still wonder if I did something different I could have a different scenario right now. Like it was the case in Heavy Rain where everything could have a big repercution on the lenght of the game and of course the end.
I still have to finish the game and see if my opinion will change and replay episode 3 to see if there something that could really be different. Also ... there is a lot of minor technical issues. Sometime during a loading someone will speak and then the image come and it is out of sinc but after it goes back to normal, some lag too. All that happened at the end of and episode because otherwise the game run flawlessly. This is also why I didn't give it 9,5
EDIT :
I finished the game yesterday and the end is exacly what I thought it would be. Saddly what you decide don't really change anything in the game unlike Heavy Rain ( even if there is a number of possible end ... at least it may offer a different ending and/or change the lengh of the game ). So I lowered my score to 8,0 instead of 9,0
