Being a fan of the Terminator movies I wouldn't call this game terrible...but its certainly not good either. If I didn't have a clue about the Terminator movies and just wanted to play an action game, I wouldn't want to play this.

I'll start with the problems, since there are more of them.

1. Graphics. Seems few developers are taking advantage of the X-Box hardware. This game is no exception. It looks "Decent", but I except more out of an X-Box game. This game is PS2 quality at best. Which isn't bad, but could have been way better.

2. Camera. The camera system is just plain bad bad bad. Each area has static angles that it auto-switches to when you walk into a certain spot. When your running around an area it changes perspective on its own to a totally different perspective. Which causes you to lose your concentration and try to figure out where the heck you are again. Its supremely annoying during battles. You fall back from some T-800s and all of a sudden your running back toward them because the camera changed. This problem alone pretty much ruins the game.

3. Gameplay Variety. The game is boring. Plain and simple. Shoot some robots, flick a switch, shoot some robots, watch a cut-scene...and so on. This would NOT be a game to buy, even for a Terminator fan. Shooting robots all the time wouldn't be bad, but there is little variety or difference in fights. All you do is hold the right trigger and shoot...and occasionaly do some melee fighting.

Now on to the good things:

1. Sound/Music. Excellent music and sound effects. Some voice acting sounds a bit lame. But overall its pretty good.

2. Story/Cutscenes. I'm finding the story is pretty decent and the cut-scenes have some style and are generally well done.

Bottom Line. If your a Terminator fan give this game a rent. There's only 10 levels, so that's all you should need. Everyone else should just stay away from it.
