This is a SUBERB game! Recommended.
it is not perfect but it is pretty good.
i just love the game play, it is so simple but at the same time so addictive.
this game tells a story about an inmate that possibly killed his wife and sons, but although he is condemned to death penalty, he does not remember if he killed them or not. kind of amnesic.
but something happens in the prison, monsters attack slaying everything in way, guards, inmates and even them selves.
so Torque, the game guy, is now free to explore the prison and try to escape from it.
through dark passages or night outsides, only with a gun and a flashlight, you will have a lot to kill.
also a big feature is that Torque can transform himself in a huge monster, you have this insanity meter that fills the more you kill, and when full you can transform and control this monster, with huge combos.
also you have get back to normal before the meter gets empty or Torque will die.
you have a lot of variety of weapons, since an axe, a shiv to a flamethrower, and all the basics like the tommy gun and the revolver and also DUAL revolvers.
also the classic flashbang and molotov among other grenades.
this game has 3 endings, one good, one neutral and one bad.
you will get the ending with the actions you do.
if you help everyone in game, and dont kill humans, except the only ones who attack you, you will get the good ending.
you get the neutral when you be good by helping but they die in combat, or when you can not protect them.
you get the bad ending doing the opposite and killing everything that moves.
another great feature is that you can play originally this game in third person view, but you can change it at any time in game by pressing ctrl to first person, although in this view the movements are limited. for eg. he cannot scroll sideways.
in the end you will see the resolution of the story, either Torque killed them (Bad Ending) or they were killed by some agents like (Good Ending)
either ways you will run away from prison by boat.
so, great game, worth playing for the horror fans.
