The survival horror sequel with a slight twist.

User Rating: 7.8 | The Suffering: Ties That Bind XBOX
If you played the first Suffering game then you wont be in for much of a shock with this sequel. The gameplay is very similar and so are the weapons and enemies. The story picks up right where the first game leaves off...

You once again play as Torque, an escaped convict that is battling his own innder demon... literally. This time the game trys to tell the story and history of why Torque is the way he is and why he killed his family. The gameplay is basically the same as you can cycle through your guns and throwing weapons as you find them throughout the game. Weapons and items are plentiful as are healing items.

Now I will admit that I used the cheat codes and I will say that you almost have to in certain cases. The game itself isnt diffiuclt but there are certain parts where you are swamped by enemies and its almost frustrating to do without cheating. PLus the game is always more fun when you have the best weapons through the whole game and your invincible too. :)

You have the option of being good or evil as you play by helping or killing certain characters. The only benefit is to see the different endings. The graphics once again are very bloody and gory but very detailed. I would have to say that if your into non-stop killing with lots of blood than this game is for you. Otherwise its similar to any other horror type kill for all. At least in this sequel they force you to change into your demon to defeat certain key enemies. Worth it if you find it cheap.
