It was painful but i've managed to finish it

Since i'm a huge Lovecraft fan, I was totally looking forward to this one. But alas, it's horrible overall. The Sinking City is by far the WORST video game that I've ever played, literally. The biggest disappointment since new type Resident Evil Series. Frogwares wanna take your money before you are aware of what you're buying, and that's the way they roll for the last 2 decades. I've bought Dracula: Origin from them 10 years ago, it was not this bad, but was incomparable to previous games which were masterpieces so I was, guess what, heavily disappointed...

I never ever could've imagined that in the year 2019 we get to play something like this. Visuals are terrible but aren't important to me at all (one of my favourites is Lovecraft's Untold Stories - pixelated), but in-game sounds are awful too (gunfire actually doesn't even sound like a gunfire, it sounds like a giant troll farting in short bursts deep in the cave), gameplay is terrible, mechanics are horrible, and controls, really?! (on pc you have melee attack on e by default and you are not able to use left click for melee because it is reserved for combination with right click aim+shoot ranged weapon and interaction, really??! ofc, you can switch controls and make a giant mess, just so you could go back and restore 'em to defaults). Characters and their face expressions are total fail (It would actually be better if there weren't any options for dialogue). Stupid example, if you point your gun to a random npc, you'll get the same short sentence repeated multiple times in a row with 1 second gap, forever, until you move your aim off him. The only positive thing is that the game runs smoothly without any drops on max settings.

Why did they even delay this game? Did they improve anything since it is absolute trash from point A to point Z? What was the previous state of the game if this is what they call "improved", since February? Did they think it's gonna be a blast to the public? Did they even realize how bad it is? I bet that the devs didn't even finish the game.. And if they did, then there's something really not good at all about the whole story, company and price ($60 on Epic Launcher lol), along with improvement statements.

My, oh my, oh my, it is as bad as Alone in the Dark: Illumination.. My feelings about TSC are just about the same as they were when Resident evil: Operation Raccoon City came out.. I've had HUGE expectations and we've got HUGE pile of trash.

Final word for the city that sank before it's official release, I am not sure if I'm supposed to cry or laugh about it, but I'd definitely wait to buy it on sale if the full price is $20 max.

I'd highly advise anyone out there against buying this game cuz it is not worth, not even $20! 60 bucks are complete robbery because this game has nothing spectacular to offer for that price. For that amount of $ I'd rather buy bottle of cheap liquor to wash out these 20 hours of awful experience. I was focused on main story to finish it and god help me, it was so fucking hard but I've managed to do it somehow. The game itself is very painful to play.

P.S. It's obvious why it's not going to be on steam. There are not many people that would give positive review for it and i believe that the most people would ask for refund.
