I am really impressed with the sims 2 pets for PS2. I have played previous console versions of the game and have been disappointed. Visually this game is far better than the previous games. Load times are good, save times a little slow but bearable. A downside is that it takes forever to bathe or use the toilet, sometimes using up an hour or more of the day.
The pets are cute and you choose from a wide variety of breeds.
There is one downtown area which has shops, a boarding kennel, pet salon and is a place to meet other sims.
Overall a really solid game.
