Consider buying this only if you love holidays and what to take them to your game.
If you're the kind of person that loves holidays then this should be excellent for you, because the content is really great, windows with snow, stars and stuff like that, holiday paintings and some sculptures.
The only change to game mechanics is a new party option... New years bash! and when the party ends the old man becomes a toddler named new year's toddler or something like that, Also there is a Santa and Miss Claus outfit including the cap form men and hat for women. And last, an elven cap found in custom hair when you change your look using a mirror.
I don't really like holidays that much but let's say I love getting new stuff for The Sims 2, and I try not to miss anything made from Maxis or EA Games... Whatever, so holiday fans... Don't miss this!
