Pretty good for a stuff pack.

Let me be honest - I've always been a little skeptical about these Stuff Packs for The Sims 2. The first one EA released - the "Holiday Party Pack" was ridiculously overpriced and light on features. However they seem to have been improving in quality and breadth of content which means the price tag is a little more attractive.

The Sims 2: Happy Holiday Stuff contains a number of objects,clothes and building items themed predominantly around Christmas/New Year celebrations, although a few items from other cultural celebrations are there too. Some of the cooler objects include fireworks, Christmas trees and the Santa costume.

The installation is a little different to the other Stuff Packs, it seems to be applied more like a patch and no installation key is required.

Overall, The Sims 2: Happy Holiday Stuff is good value if you need something new to tide yourself over until the Seasons expansion pack is released or if you're into the storytelling aspect of the game. if you can find it discounted, then it's definitely worth the money.
