Ladies And Gents, EA have cracked it!

User Rating: 7.5 | The Sims 2: FreeTime PC
So, ever since The Sims 2 Pets, in my personal opinion, the series has seriously flopped because EA started doing all the coding themselves. They also produced a strand of equally bad console games, and the Stories chain for laptops. Bon Voyage was created by Maxis last year, although they got no credit for it. It was on of the better ones produced, and now EA are coding the last ever Sims 2 Expansion Pack, FreeTime...So is it any good?

Lets start with the confusing side of things, the Lifetime aspiration meter. It is a pain since you do not what is going on. The Sims 2 FreeTime Offical Prima Guide actually gives very helpful hints on gaining points in the aspirtation bar, but it is too hard to explain in a review. Basically, falling in love gives you points.

Then we come onto the hobbies themselves...you get no control over what sims hobby you want for the sims, so your sims will have a randomly generated favourite hobby. Luckily EA have put this in a glowing circle so you know which one is the best hobby...say good old EA!

There are a couple of new careers, more objects, and 10 hobbies, but besides that, there is nothing that fasinating in this pack which is a shame for the last expansion pack.

+ Wide selection of hobbies
+ Genie in the lamp
+ Successful end to the series

- Restrictions let it down
- Some new confusing modes
- More of the same old sims
