The Simpsons Hit and Run is basically the Simpsons version of Grand Theft Auto. You can play as Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, and Apu. The game is really fun with destroying cars, racing other cars in the game, fun missions, stealing cars, driving destroyed cars and being chased by the cops too. And unlike grand theft auto, you can replay all of the missions as many times as you want and you can drive destroyed cars too which can't be done in grand theft auto either.
There are 49 special cars in the game which you can use in every level most of which are based on Simpsons episodes. Some of the cars are Mr. Plow, The car built for Home, Plow King, Hover car, School bus, and lots of more cars. There's even special clothing for all of the characters 3 in each level all of which are based on what they have worn in different episodes.
The game starts out with Homer where he is just doing some normal everyday stuff. But as you get farther on in the game there's more and more and stuff leading to where the two the aliens on The Simpsons Kang and Kodos who are making their own show in Springfield by having a bunch of video cameras that look like wasps and are meant to spy on the people in Springfield filming what everyone is doing. They also made a special soda called Buzz Cola that causes people to act really crazy.
Then in the 6th level Bart tries to get more information about what is going on and at the end of that level everything about Kang and Kodos' show is revealed. Then in the last level (which has a Halloween theme) Homer fights all of the zombies in the level and defeats Kang and Kodos by having their ship destroyed by having cars with nuclear waste on them get abducted which destroys Kang and Kodos' space ship.
One of my favorite things to do in the game is driving a destroyed car, typing in the code for destroying cars when hitting them and faster cars and then driving a destroyed car (going at normal speed because the faster car code is typed in) and then being chased by the cops who get blown up when they hit you while you're driving so you don't lose any money. If you're a Simpsons fan and you have either a PS2, Xbox, or GameCube then should totally get this game
