Overall, this game has a pretty weak offering to any Simpson's fans out there.

User Rating: 2.5 | Bart no Fushigi na Yume no Daibouken SNES
Although I haven't played all of the Simpsons games around the world, I played Bart's Nightmare before. I know this game is an obsolete arcade game for the SNES, but the overall game play and design is not that great either.

Presentation - 2 This game starts off playing as Bart on the streets of Springfield. Your objective is to have him pass though the levels, and get good grades on his homework. Unfortunately, you can't save your progress.

Graphics - 3 Since this is a very old game, the graphics won't be mind blowing. Some SNES games had good graphics like Super Mario World and Donkey Kong Country series. Unfortunately, the graphics in this game are nowhere near as good as some of Nintendo's most popular games. They are just two dimensional objects that were very animated, and the outlines look a bit broken up as well.

Sound - 2 The sound track is basically the same, and it's just a remixed version of the Simpson's theme music. The music itself is alright, but it becomes way too redundant.

Game play- 5 The controls are responsive, but they are reversed sometimes by other characters. Sometimes Bart will be transformed into a frog. It gets frustrating because he will fall down a lot and get hurt over certain enemies.

Lasting approval - 1 This game can be entertaining, but it doesn't appeal to the Simpsons fans that much at all. It's a little bit too short for an arcade game. Also, it's easy to lose more quickly because there are too many obstacles in the way. Without a two player mode, this game has less replay value. Plus, you can't save your progress.
