This game is garbage! I should have left it on the floor where I threw it!
The premise of the game is that aliens are trying to take over the world, but they need purple objects in order to do it. Why on earth they would need purple objects is beyond my scope of knowledge, but stupidity was never my forte. The first screen before the game shows two aliens feeding purple objects into a machine, and then it cuts to Bart on a street. You start walking right, and there is an alien jumping over a purple garbage can. You continue right, evade the next three aliens (you can't kill anything), and then you get a can of spray-paint. What fun! Now you have to go back and spray that garbage can.
The first couple of times you'll probably die, because trying to evade these aliens, while easy, is more difficult than it seems. That, coupled with the two hits you are allowed to take, make this game very hard. All of the aliens move in patterns, but sometimes getting past them is a pain. Also, sometimes you have to figure out a different way around them, but trying to figure out what you are and aren't able to stand on is a trying task to say the least.
The music in this game is terrible, and the sound effects are horrid. I've heard better music and such in Color Dreams games, and that's sad.
The game play is a bit confusing. The main goal is to paint everything purple red, but you also have x-ray glasses which can tell you if the random townsfolk are aliens or not. If they are, you can jump on their head and get a letter to spell Maggie. Supposedly Maggie will help you in the boss battle, but I have no idea. I've never gotten past the first level. You also need to collect coins to buy stuff to help you in your task. You can buy fireworks, a magnet, cherry bombs, and some other crap. These items are used to do various things.
Other than this, I can't say much more about the game. I wouldn't recommend it to anybody, as I think it is the crap of the crap. That means crap crapped this game out. That's how bad this game is.
