I DON'T LIKE SPIDERMAN OR ANY MARVEL CHARACTER, EXCEPT FOR THE PUNISHER, HUGELY UNDER-RATED GAME.
Being completely random in choice, The Punisher does what the movie never accomplished. Having a great story and action fest of a time.
Released at the start of 2005, The Punisher was released without much hype. Playing it a month after it came out, I saw some images and reviews and was immediately hooked. The game is just trying to be a fun action romp. You go through each level, whether if its in a mansion or prison, each level provides somehting different, even though you're killing soldiers in each level. It also provides some pretty cool boss battles which approapriately occur at the end of a level.
Grpahically, it stands pretty well to many titles being released on today's consoles. If you are into rediculous 3rd person action romps, then this game is for you. It may not have a proper cover system, but most of the time you'll be charging forward killing multiple amounts of enemies.
The only other criticism is that it is pretty short, but at the same time, thats a good thing. You don't want to be playing a long boring game. There are hardly any games out there that are long and fun. Most give you a burst of fun in small doses. So an 8 out of 10 sounds pretty fair for a game that doesn't do much wrong for a great action romp.
P.S. I've kept this short and sweet, my next review may be another PS2 game or PSP game. I'm leaving the XBOX 360 games for another time.
