Does justice to what Garth hath wrought.

User Rating: 7.9 | The Punisher PS2
The Punisher is mighty fun to play. After a long day, who wouldn't want to come home and stuff a few enemies into a wood chipper? This game has the same dark humor that the recent comic arcs do, which is no easy task to accomplish. Instead of being useless at living and putting out a worthless platformer based on the movie, this game holds its roots in the graphic novel. Although there are many major deviations from the story, it is still written by our favorite literary madman Garth Ennis. There are even (gasp) subtle jokes in the game relating to the comics. Honestly, the gameplay could be a bit better. It is a bit sticky at times, and many of the enemies are clones. However, there are many wonderful ways to torture and dispose of them. I also think they did an excellent job of pulling off dual wielding in a 3D shooter, unlike Bloodrayne. Play this game with a bottle of Wild Turkey by your side, and you are in for hours of Castle power.
