... IT'S NOT REVENGE IT'S PUNISHMENT...
Needless to say, this game had a hand at crafting the gamer I am today. One word that I would use to sum this game is BRUTAL.
The gameplay is sweet, the graphics are pretty decent and the story is true to the series. I have to say that this game is one of the best games in my collection and everytime I shove my army knife in a Gnucci family member, i shed a tear ... if that doesn't make you cry, the SWEET armory that Frank keeps will.
The player takes control of Frank Castle, a man on a mission ... to rid society of the elements that eat at the foundations of his city... at ANY MEANS. Whether you are a petty thief, a drug dealer, or the Kingpin himself, The Punisher has got your number ...
Armed with an array of weapons that are designed to reek havoc, The Punisher seeks out the unjust and brings them to justice. Kicking ass and taking names has never felt so good.
Did I forget to mention that you get to use the environment to KILL people?
The interrogation system proves to be one of the highlights of this game, and a useful tool to make the bad guys spill their guts (pun intended). The special kill system also boosts the game and skill points. This game has all the makings of a classic although there are a few glitches.
In the end, The Punisher is an excellent game with it's witty remarks when you destroy a foot soldier, and the desperate shrieks when a russian mercenary runs around on fire, that is why i would reccommend that any gamer that is into the BRUTAL anti hero genre, go out and get a copy!!
