Pinball Arcade is one of the best pinball games available, with its main selling point being the recreation of classic pinball tables spanning the ages and the many different companies that created them. So why is the score so low? Because, as a PS3 owner, every table you purchase is a gamble if it will work correctly or look good (I'm not even getting into the fate of Xbox 360 owners who probably haven't seen a new table released in over a year). Farsight just doesn't care about the product it's selling you. Does your Black Knight table look like a low-res handheld version? Does the camera go into impossible-to-play plunger view during multiball on Bride of Pinbot and Star Trek TNG? Farsight just doesn't care. They take no time to properly playtest the tables they release and they have neither the knowledge or the drive to properly update problem tables. Should these problems ever be fixed, I would give Arcade a much higher rating. As it stands now, the buyer truly has to beware of what they'll end up purchasing on the console versions.
