I was born in 1981 and played this game constantly in elementary school. Most don't recall this version unless you are 23 or older. Im 25 and I would still play this game. I hate RPG games, but this in itse;lf IS an RPG and a very good one. It has an educational backround behind it and it teaches you to feed your clan and make sure everyone is in good health. If not, people start dying, and mostly from very random stuff. Diahrea, flu, starvation, dehydration etc.... You have to hunt for your own food and if it's the wrong time of year, good luck with that. You have to deal with wagon issues and destruction. I mean, considering the game being seemingly basic, it is very deep for it's time. Alos considering this game was out before a lot of you were born, you have to realize all the intracacies were revolutionary.
In a way, this help pave the way for a lot of RPG's.
