The Orange Box is one of the best deals in gaming history and worth every cent.

User Rating: 10 | The Orange Box X360
Half-Life 2 and it's episodes alone are worth a $60 price tag. But Valve decided to treat us gamers and throw in two more great games to improve the value of this deal even more.

The Orange Box consists of five games, Half-Life 2, Episode 1, Episode 2, Team Fortress 2, and Portal. Each of these games are fantastic and show off Valve's talent. There's some much content in this game each individual game needs to be reviewed separately.

Half-Life 2 and It's Episodes - 10/10
Though Half-Life 2 and Episode 1 were previously released, they made their debut on consoles with The Orange Box. Half-Life 2 is arguably one of the best First-Person Shooters around, and Episode 1 was a great expansion to a near-perfect game. With Episode 2's release Valve again impresses. Episode 2 is vastly superior to Episode 1 and even rivals Half-Life 2 itself. It is fun and intense all the way through up to the fantastic final battle, possible one of the best moments in all of Half-Life.

Team Fortress 2 - 8/10
Team Fortress was another debut on The Orange Box. The class-based team shooter is a blast to play alone or with friend. Unfortunately the lack of support and DLC on the Xbox version makes this the weakest part in The Orange Box.

Portal - 10/10
The final game in The Orange Box, the surprise hit, is Portal. I didn't have any expectations for this game when I first got The Orange box, but it quickly became my favorite. Though Portal is extremely short, it is packed with dark humor that is absolutely hilarious, tough but not impossible puzzles, and an interesting story. From start to finish, Portal is a fantastic experience that leaves you wanting more.

Overall, The Orange Box is a near-perfect collection filled with amazing games. From Half-Life to Portal, this is something for everyone and is truly a game that should not be missed.
