Challenging movie-based puzzle for gbc which creates a nice horror-atmosphere while playing it

The mummy is a puzzle game based on a movie with same title. The basic objective is to collect certain amount of items spread on map and make it to the goal. These items can be books, money or Egyptian relics based on scenes from movie. There are total of 46 stages most of them taking place in Hamunaptra, aka the city of dead familiar from the movie.

You can play as Evelyn, Jonathan,Rick or Ardeth Bay. Each character has their own abilities and items to use. Evelyn can run fast and jump higher than others, and she can use runestones which open certain doors, Jonathan can use dynamites and punch enemies with his fist. Ardeth Bay uses his sword and he also has same jumping skills as Evelyn. Rick can shoot which makes him the most important defense against enemies, which include for example mummies, zombies, ghosts and those little annoying never-ending scarabs. However Rick is slow and has a horrible jumping skill, but he can also push heavy objects and he can carry a rifle which is used to shoot certain switches.

There are only limited amount of rune stones, dynamites and rifles per stage, so player has to be careful while using them because even a single mistake may result in failing the mission. Luckily if you get stuck you can commit a suicide by pressing a+b+start.
All characters have their individual lifebar and they can be switched by simply pressing select. Because each can only carry just one item at time player has to carefully plan his moves. Some areas on map are dark so one character may have to carry a torch and so he cant use his special items while carrying it and if you drop the torch you wont be able to get it back. Because even a single mistake (like using a dynamite to blow a wrong door) can fail the stage the only way to beat it is to play it over and over again, getting a little bit closer to goal each time. This will become frustrating as the stages keep getting harder and harder.

The game music makes the atmosphere great. Spooky music really gets your nerves while desperately trying to solve a puzzle while mummies keep coming from both directions.... If you just cant keep on playing anymore there's a simple four-symbol password system giving a change to take a breath and try that stage again later, if you dare...Overall the game is nothing special but those who are fans of puzzle games which require some strategy planning and challenge might enjoy it.
