Disney and CAPCOM comes together for a Magical Quest

User Rating: 7.5 | Mickey no Magical Adventure SNES
Pluto is missing and it's up to Mickey to travel through a strange land in order to find his pal. While on his journey, Mickey finds out the Pluto has been captured by the Evil Emperor Pete, and Pete intends to put an evil spell on Pluto. So in order for Mickey to save his pal, Pluto, he must also defeat the Evil Emperor Pete.

The Magical Quest is a platformer developed by CAPCOM. Like many other platformers you can jump on enemies, but in the Magical Quest this will only stun them. You can pick up stunned enemies and spin them into other enemies for an instant kill, but this isn't your only form of attack. Mickey will gain power up suits that you can switch in and out when needed, and the power up suits have a certain amount of power, which is very similar to Mega Man. Also, Mickey's climber suit uses a grappling hook that reminds me of Bionic Commando.

Like many of CAPCOMs games, the Magical quest has a great soundtrack that helps pull you into this great looking game. Even as good as this game is there are a few flaws. For one, the boss fights are very easy, Secondly the Magical Quest is way to short, and an average player can complete the whole game in about two hours.

Over all I really liked this game while it lasted, I only wish that the game was longer and a little more difficult. But if your looking for a platformer with good game play, then pick up this game.
