It was a great attempt at making a LOTR rpg, for the first time ever. Multiplayer RPG.....sounds good!

Its strange, a LOTR rpg. Strange but interesting, EA have produced a great creation with this game, it offers almost everything that a rpg should have, off cource its not as good as the Final Fantasy series, but is still a great game. The game is great because you actually get to be the characters who you thought were great in the movie in the game, such as Aragon, Gandalf, Gimli and Legolas, there are also other characters you may meet up in your journey. The part i really like about this game is that the story mode is set between "The fellowship of the Ring" to "The return of the King", so you find yourself battling through levels while in the distance you see Gandalf fighting the massive fire monster. You will be traveling through the levels sometimes taking the same paths as the fellowship took or your own paths. There are 6 characters you may be, you unlock them whiel traveling through the main mode, the characters you are, are not Aragon or Gimli, they are different characters, but sometimes you get a treat by fighting along side The fellowship. What i am really astounded at is that they tried to link up your story mode with the fellowship one for intants:- When Lady Eowyn is fighting the shadow, you come and help her (thats one hard fight i may add). Evil mode is an other mode that you unlock, what you do is fight as the evil side, this mode was ok, but not much to it, very short and most of the lv's are easy. The best part of this mode i enjoyed was just checking out what moves they had and their head it was interesting to find out. The graphics were great, they were acceptable for that type of game, the music well as normal the same old LOTR soundtrack was played in the game. Now to the letdowns, what i didn't like was the lack of moves, don't get me wrong their was alot of moves to unlock but i wish there could be more moves, so there could be more choices, another thing was that the items you got like the ones that lower there attack damage didn't help you much its like they were usless. An other thing is i believe you lv up to quickly, and i mean way to quickly, but that didn't bother me to much. I got up to lv 80+ with all the characters, the thing is that after you finish the game and you want to still upgrade yourself, it gets extemely hard to go up lv's because the foes are so easy. Overall this is a great game, i enjoyed playing this, this game is a must get for the LOTR fans, i recommend you guys go rent it out and see what you think of it before you actually purchase it.
