Lord of the Rings, The Return of the King is one of the best movies I've ever seen and now there is a game for it.
It's EAs third attempt to put the Lord of the Rings trilogy into a game and they've done Return of the King beautifully. You start with off with 5 characters (Aragorn, Legolas, Gimli, Sam and Gandalf) but you can unlock 3 more once you complete the game.
Missions follow the storyline of all the movie's battle scenes such as Pellanor fields and the Black Gate where you have to fight your way through to end of the missions. The graphics are good too with highly detailed characters and environments.
The game is highly interactive, you can pick up spears off the ground and throw them at orcs, there are catapults to unleash, and ballista's to fire. The AI are pretty smart but there intelligence could be improved. There's also unrealism in that there are about 200 orcs that you have to face but there's only 6 guys on your team, but magically you manage to kill all the orcs and save the lives of those on your team..
But apart from that it's a great game.
