One of the best of all time!!

User Rating: 10 | The Legend of Zelda NES
This game was the first game I was ever addicted to. It was adventurous. I was 11 at the time when it came out. Link seemed like he was my age. It was huge and sweeping and seemed overwhelming sometimes. It was the first game to have a gold cartridge, and cost a whopping 40 dollars. It had a save feature, which was used by saving the game and holding down the reset button and pushing the power button at the same time. You have to realize that no other game at that time ever had that, ever. It was the first game where you could have multiple profiles! You could actually save 3 different games and play them whenever you wanted. At the time, it was an unheard of feature that we all take for granted now. For you younger gamers, just to put it into perspective, when you played a game like Super Mario Bros. you would have to beat the game in one sitting or put the game on pause to continue it later. If you turned off the console, well, you would have to start a brand new game every time. It was that way for all games. Zelda was different. It had scope. It had breadth. It had bosses and music that was fun and eerie. It is still one of the best games ever made and always will be.
