When I first saw the graphics of the Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker I was kind of skeptical of how good this game would be. When I first started playing the game I was amazed by the graphics and I told myself that this game had looked amazing. The attention to detail on the characters and the enviroments in the Wind Waker were of the utmost quality. It kind of made you feel like you were watching a little cartoon instead of actually playing the game, which was something very new and refreshing for the series. The gameplay was amazing, it felt like the throwback OoT controls with a few new attacks and a different button layout. I have to say the only time I got bored in the game was when I was sailing from island to island (you'll get over that once you get the teleport song for your wind waker baton). The dungeons in the game are laid out very well and the boss fights are truly epic and even funny at times. The fight with Ganon was one of the best boss fights that I had ever experienced, but I won't spoil anything for you. Wind Waker was a very big game (due to ocean) but the thing that really had me disappointed about the game was that there were only about 3 islands with actual people or birds on it. Even with the lack of NPCs there were still a lot of other things to do in the Wind Waker if you were tired of fighting like quests, or sailing for treasure. There are a lot of things to do in the Wind Waker which is what you would expect from a Legend of Zelda game. All in all, although the look was different the feel of this game was just like any other Zelda game in the series, and if you are a Zelda fan like me this is definitely not a bad thing.
