Where the 3D starts.

As the origin of 3D Zelda, Ocarina of Time is a beautifully built, descriptive and exciting game. For some reason, I've never been overly fond of it in particular, but I still love it all the same. After all, it's extremely fun, has many great dungeons (forest temple!), and it gives you the origin of mythos in Zelda. I remember how exciting it was to finally duke it out with my favorite enemies in 3D (I started with the classic 2Ds)! The innovative gameplay of switching between child and adult always impressed me, as well as the plethora of items and their usability. And who can forget Navi with her heys and listens? I sure can't, for better or for worse. But despite this, the dungeons within the game are very insightful, and often are found within places you wouldn't normally expect a dungeon to be. In any case, a great introductory game into 3D Zelda. It should definitely be played first of any of the later ones.
