Ocarina of Time but harder, darker, and more sad.

User Rating: 10 | Zelda no Densetsu: Majora no Kamen (w/Memory Pack) N64
I'm here to review one of the greatest games ever released, known as The Legend of Zelda Majora's Mask. Let me point out, this game was very under appreciated back in the day, but now it's finally getting the appreciation it deserves. (As you can tell, I'M A BIG ZELDA FAN.)

Story: 9
The main story is about Link searching for Navi, getting an item stolen by a crazy Skull Kid, and then having to travel back in time over and over to stop Majora's Mask. It's an awesome story, and it branches off into an extremely dark and bizarre territory.
But, the reason why the story in this game is perfect, because there's tons of them! There are many NPC's in the game that have their own story to tell if you dig deep enough, and it's rather depressing and sad if you don't complete the promise you had made them.

Graphics: 10
They are pretty much the same as Ocarina of Time's, but upgraded a bit, no pre-rendered backgrounds, and with a darker style. It's beautiful. Some of the best on the system, and if you ask me, it looks better than games like Perfect Dark and Banjo Tooie, only game that has better graphics for the system would be Conker's Bad Fur Day.

Gameplay: 10
Majora's Mask uses the same gameplay that Ocarina of Time introduced, but now there are masks that all have different functions, such as a Deku mask, Goron mask, Zora mask, and Fierce Deity mask. But there's a reason why this game has slightly better gameplay than it's predecessor, it's loads harder in terms of puzzles.

Sound: 10
This game has one of the best soundtracks of all time. You have some nice, joyful themes, but then there are those really dark, creepy themes that make you depressed, such as the Song of Healing, and Ikana Valley. Every piece of music in this game is phenomenal.

Lifetime: 10
There's a lot to do in this game. First, get all of the masks, all of the items, all of the item upgrades, get all the hearts, help every doomed person, etc.

Replay Value: 8
Even though I've beaten this game once, I want to restart it right away because of how amazing it is. You can compete to see how much faster you can complete your objectives and such.

Overall: 10 "Masterpiece"
Overall, this game is a masterpiece. Even though it is my least favorite out of the 3D Zelda titles, I like it as much as them. This game needs a remake on the 3DS, and this game will live on forever.
