This game is a must have for any Zelda fans out there.
Anyways The Legend of Zelda (NES) was the very first Zelda game to be released for the NES. You play as a child with elf like ears, named Link, and you earn hearts, solve puzzles in dungeons, and find hidden items. Ganondorf is the final boss of the game. After you defeat him, you finally save Zelda. This game is not side scrolling like Super Mario Bros 1 is. He can also obtain a sword, boomerang etc.
In Zelda II it's very similar to Zelda 1, but this time the dungeons are more advanced, and more enemies are in your way. Also, this is the only Zelda game that has side scrolling. You can also visit strangers and talk to them for the very first time. Once you start exploring, a few enemies come in your way, and Link uses his sword to kill them.
The Ocarina of Time was considered to be one of the best Zelda games ever. At first you play as a child Link, but after you complete three dungeons, he can transform into an adult. There are a lot more places and dungeons to explore. Majora's Mask is basically a sequel to Ocarina of Time.
Overall, if you like Zelda games, pick this one up, and you will not regret it.
Presentation - 8 You receive four classic Zelda games, a video, and a demo of The Windwaker.
Graphics - 10 The graphics are the same from their original games, and they still look amazing.
Sound - 10 The music is a timeless classic.
Game play - 10 The controls are responsive.
Lasting Approval - 10 At least you can save your progress of all of them except for the demo game. You will most likely spend many hours playing this, but too bad that it doesn't have two player mode.
Overall: 9.6 Gamespot Score: 9.5
