One of Nintendo’s best promotional offers to date is The Legend of Zelda: Collector’s Edition. The game was available in a Gamecube bundle and to those who were willing to jump through several marketing ploy hoops. Included on the disc are the original Zelda, Adventures of Link, Ocarina of Time, and Major’s Mask. The NES games are perfect ports of the originals and playing through them really shows you how the series evolved and molded future releases. The N64 games were a lit bit trickier to emulate so there are some glitches in the frame rate and sound at points. The games are certainly good enough though to overlook these slight problems. The controls take a bit of getting used to, but once you get it you got it for good. The only thing that could make this game better was if it included Link to the Past or some of the Gameboy Zelda titles. If you have the opportunity to snag this title it is certainly worth it and could one day prove to be a hot E-Bay item.
