Ocarina so beautifull and amazing... oh and theres the rest!
I f you already have Ocarina of Time, Majoras Mask and Zelda for NES then this is not neaded... unless you're an extreme Zelda fan. Due to the fact there are many features on the disk I have split this review up...
ZELDA ( NES ) - A very good 2D adventure which is fairly difficult and to know what to do you may wish for help from a basic internet guide, there is a very good site on the web somewhere dedicated to providing all sorts for Zelda fans or those getting into the series. It plays similar to Ocarina of Time but more complex, 2D and with a rubbish story. alone this game would be worth a 6.0 considering Gamecube controlls etc.
LINK / ZELDA 2 ( NES ) - Very poor and famously the black sheep of the series, the battling is poor and the map is too basic unbelievably ZELDA ( NES ) is far better graphically, however this game improves greatly on the story aspect so I would give it a 3.0 or so.
ZELDA OCARINA OF TIME ( N64 ) - Well as a fan of the series this is my favourite in the series, so well made deeply involving story and cost Nintendo a lot to produce as they put so much effort into the game and like Gamespot says it just can't be faulted even today it holds out very well as one of the best games of all time. Defenetly deserves 9.5 considering nowadays it feels a tad repeditive... sorry old Nintendo.
ZELDA MAJORA'S MASK ( N64 ) - Good yet very very repeditive with a fairly pointless story but nice snazy graphics that fair quite well today, also the music is still very good. Takes a while to get into but worth getting into so maby a 7.0 for this game.
EXTRAS -
ZELDA HISTORY FILM - Short giving a brief look at all Zelda games before Wind Waker including Wind Waker but you'll watch it once if even that so a 2.5 to this.
WIND WAKER CLIP - Short and as the game is out pretty pointless but OK for a single use so 1.5 seems fair.
WIND WAKER DEMO - 20 minutes of mucking around is OK but as I say once the game is out its not really that usefull but its OK if you don't own the game 4.5 is my score for this.
All in all this works as a very good value disk good for most if not all looking for value or Zelda fans so its well worth that 5 or so pounds or round about there in dollars.
