Amazing game. However I have some minor nitpicks.

User Rating: 8 | The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild NS

The story in this game is, in my opinion, top 3 in Zelda game stories (next to Ocarina of time and twilight princess). Its FILLED with content, 120 shrines, 900 fricking korok seeds and is a VASTLY open world. Heck, you can even go straight to Ganon at the beginning of the game and there are SO MANY sidequests. The landmarks and villages are nice, especially the Zora domain. It captivates a nice relaxing feeling on the player making you want to keep playing but not to a certain point where you get addicted. There are TONS of collectables and the inventory weapon-shield system is nice. There are a lot of really cool weapons and armour which makes the game feel more realistic than other Zelda games (*cough*cooking*cough*).

But here are my issues with the game.

Link has a hard time beating regular bokoblins in the wild but has an easy time in dungeons which basically have no enemies outside of the boss. The combat in this game is ok at best and this may just be my opinion, but I don't like the way you get rupees in this game by just selling your stuff or doing sidequests I prefer just finding rupees in pots or by cutting the grass. Also, I think it would have been best to just add pieces of heart inside chests instead of getting them from upgrades in goddess statues. While I do like the upgrading system it would have been best to just add stamina upgrades in them, so that way the majority of chests don't contain a weapon or a piece of clothing which would make 100%ing the game much more enjoyable.

These are just minor nitpicks that would have made the game get a 10 if they weren't there, so that's why I think this game deserves an 8.

Overall, you should definitely buy this game and complete it because it is very much worth spending sleepless nights on. But the minor bad things in this game make it deserve an 8.
