The most loved Zelda game are A Link to the Past, Ocarina of Time, and Majora's Mask. Well I am proud to say that A Link Between Worlds isn't only going to be added to that list but also is possibly the best game in the series This is my review on the highly anticipated sequel to ALTTP, A Link Between Worlds.
A Link Between Worlds is introduced in a great and simple way unlike other Zelda games where the first part of the game was already complicating to get through. In this game, almost everything is simple and straight forward which I love that they did that. Now I won't spoil anything about the story, so I'm just going to say that the story is great. The story is actually very similar to A Link To The Past but with a few fixes. Your just going to have to play it for yourself.
The gameplay is amazing in ALBW. Taking the same feel from ALTTP, almost everything is the same. With a few fixes like saving points around Hyrule and quickly switching your items. One of the new gameplay elements is the ability to merge with any wall in the game. This creates many new ways to find your way to pieces of hearts or any other secrets.There's so much to talk about in this game but to simple it down, it borrows the best elements that everybody loved in ALTTP and brought it over into this game to create the best experiences in any Zelda. However, one of the features I don't like in this game is the way to get into the Dark World, or in this game it's called Lorule. To get there, you have to merge into a wall and go into this dark crack that brings you to Lorule. I wish they could of kept the same item that they had in ALTTP to go from Overworld to Dark World, but it's nice that they thought of something new. The dungeons are also great to play. Most of them are similar to ALTTP which is a good thing. Also the Overworld is very familiar and easy to find your way around Hyrule if you've played ALTTP.
Now everyone's favorite part about Zelda is the music. Sadly, every sound track from ALTTP has been remade and I personally don't like the fact that they took away some of the best sounding soundtracks. Even though it's been remade doesn't mean it's bad. The music still sounds great in this game and hearing familiar soundtracks makes the game awesome. I really hate the new music for the Dark World though. It doesn't have that same effect that it did in ALTTP. It's sad to hear that they ruined some of my favorite Zelda soundtracks in the series.
Overall, The Legend of Zelda A Link Between Worlds is one of the best games I ever played in the Zelda series. The reason why this review is so short is because there so much great stuff in ALBW that you should just buy this game right now and play it for yourself. You will never regret it...
