The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon is a great game. The graphics are gorgeous and each new place is different from the last. Each background has many details and colors. The storyline is pretty good and drags you in as you go along. Spyro along with Cynder and Sparx get into trouble as they travel to stop the Dark Master. With each step you have challenges and puzzles to do to advance along with some button-mashing boss smashing scenes. The cutscenes in The Legend of Spyro: Dawn of the Dragon weren't too long or too bad and include pretty cinematics. And of course when all hope is lost, it is up to you to save the day. The characters have personality and depth. You will grow to love them, if you don't already love Spyro from his other games. And of course Sparx is as annoying as ever. As far as controls go, multiplayer controls seem to be very very hard and not enjoyable. In single player it is easier to control both characters. This game is a must have for all Spyro fans, and for anyone looking for an action-adventure game. I would stress this game isn't as "cutesy" as the ones before hand and wouldn't be as good for younger children.
