Nothing new.

This game is an old school J-rpg to the bone. I mean:

-The story is absolutely linear. Some questions pop up once in a while giving you a false impression of you being able to change the course of the action, but it doesn´t matter what you answer, the outcome will always be the same.

-Very easy. Once you train a little bit on your own, no monster will stand a chance against you.

-Way too much dialogue. And boring , by the way. You ll end up passing it fastforward without even glance at it. Dull story.

-Boring, forgetable chars with pre designed personalities. We all know their profiles... hiper active girl, and misterious shy boy. Oh, please... give me a break.

-Boring battles. The "strategy" factor could perfectly have been removed and installed the old FF7 gameplay. Moving around has very little impact in battles.

-After you play 5-6 hours you can already say that you have seen everything the battle system has to offer. Nothing will change, magic will be the same but more powerful; a few more breaks; but nothing else. This is painfully boring.

-But the worst aspect of the game is the characters´ attributes. More or less, all chars play the same. They can all be mages, warriors or priests... and most likely, at the end they will be all of that at a time. Strengh, agility, dextery, magic att, magic dfs,... the attributes are very much alike in all the chars... one point up or down.

"Oh, that´s NO fun anymore!" - The Monty phyton.
