I bought and played the remastered first game before I started the Last of Us Part 2, and I have to say the first one is one of the best games I have ever played, coming from someone who has been gaming since the beginning of gaming, Pong, Atari 2600, I've see a world of change in my years as a gamer and I am constantly amazed how far gaming has advanced over the years.
The Last Of Us Part 2 starts off right where the last one left off. The graphics and game play are completely top rate, next gen. The controls are very realistic, hard to say how but combat is more finesse than button banging, especially the hand to hand fighting and movement controls, you really feel total control of your avatar. Once you get the hang of it, controls are natural and easy flowing, you don't even think about it, running Jumping, dodging, punching, aiming, everything happens naturally, your mind is not on the controls, its on the story, which is the way it should be.
I don't understand why this game is getting such a low rating from players and such a high rating from critics.
The critics are totally correct! This game is awesome and this is going to be a deep dive story, that becomes a part of my memories and thoughts for years to come, just like the original game.
All the complainers here must be a bunch of Democrats, who complain about anything and everything , or its a bunch of 13 year old's that don't know any better, no difference!
Yes! so they kill off a main player right off the bat, but people who lose friends and loved ones to an enemy WILL go to the ends of the earth to avenge their loss, that's realism! and Everyone with a past lives their life looking over their shoulder! Sometimes the past catches up with them and that's the way it is in real life too! Not everyone gets to live happily ever after.
Just because the story is realistic and doesn't play out like a fairy tail doesn't mean the game sucks!
We all love the character who is slain by revenge in the beginning, but this plot turn is necessary to fuel Ellie's rage, and it sets the tone for the rest of the story.
Now she is the avenger, feel her anger and guide her to kill those who killed the one she lost and exterminate with extreme prejudiced!
It makes no sense to me how anyone can fault this game for having a realistic story with real life consequences, Lets all be just a bunch of 13 year old's, jump on the band wagon and bash it because we don't like the way the story went, never giving it a real chance based on real merits that makes a good game.
Don't listen to them, this game is excellent! 10 out of 5 stars!!! completely awesome!
